How is this legal?
The UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) of 2006 specifically defines fantasy sports as a "Game of Skill".
As a result, any wagering on DraftStreet leagues is not considered gambling and is fully legal.
How do I sign up for a DraftStreet account?
It's easy! Just head to the DraftStreet homepage (www.draftstreet.com) and click “SIGN UP NOW.”
How do I make a deposit?
Just click on the CASHIER button and follow the steps on the screen.
What if I don't have a credit card?
That's okay! If you don't have a credit card, you can use your PayPal account. If you don't have PayPal, you can sign up for an account in the cashier page. It's extremely easy to do!
What if I don't have PayPal?
If you don't use PayPal and would rather not set up an account, you can just use your bank account via eCheck. You will need your bank account, routing, and check number. It's easy and the steps are outlined in the cashier page.
My credit card isn't working.
It's possible that your financial institution does not allow transactions with certain websites. If this is the case, just sign up for a PayPal account or use an eCheck for a direct deposit. It's very simple and is outlined in the cashier page.
Can I use a prepaid credit card or gift card to deposit?
YES. We accept prepaid cards, but you must make sure to register the card to a valid billing address prior to use on DraftStreet. If you do not
register your card prior to use, there is a good chance the funds will be authorized by the card issuer even though we decline the transaction. It can take up to 2 weeks
for the funds to return to the card. There should be registration instructions on either the card itself or the company's website.
I'm trying to make a deposit, and your site won't allow it.
Some states do not allow its residents to compete in DraftStreet leagues for money. If you reside in one of those states, you can still participate in our free leagues to win great DraftStreet merchandise!
What if I want to cash out some/all of my winnings?
It's very easy! Head to the cashier and click WITHDRAW. You can select the form of payment (either PayPal or check) and enter the amount you would like to withdraw. Most withdrawal requests will be processed within 48 hours of request. We reserve the right to investigate any account activity and withhold payment until investigation is completed.
Any request that brings your total earnings (withdrawals less deposits) over $600 for the calendar year will require a valid address and Social Security Number prior to processing. This information will be used to file a from 1099-MISC at the end of the year.
What if I don't want to wait for a check?
If you would like a faster form of payment, you can request a PayPal payment or an expedited check. Expedited checks will be received within 3 business days of withdrawal request, and will be deducted by a $10 processing fee.
How do I find a specific league?
DraftStreet offers hundreds of leagues ranging in many styles and formats. If you head to the Draft Lobby on the homepage, you can sort available leagues by a number of variables. Find the league style, size, and buy-in amount you are comfortable with and choose accordingly.
How do I enter a league?
Once you find the league you are looking for in the draft lobby, just click and you will be prompted to join that league.
Can I unregister for a league after I join?
Yes, if the league is not full yet. Once the league is full all participants are committed. If the league is not full yet, you can click the LEAVE button next to that league in the Active Leagues section on the right side of the homepage to unregister.
Why can't I leave a league after it is full?
Since we have to cancel leagues that are not full when the scoring period begins, we want all users in the league to know that once the league is full it will stay full, so they do not have to worry about an opponent opting out closer to game time, forcing the league to be canceled.
How are scores calculated?
Certain stats have a fantasy point value which can be found in our scoring rules on the Rules page. Stats are provided by STATS Inc. Sometimes official stats might be adjusted within the scoring period by STATS. Once the scoring period is over no stats will be changed and DraftStreet league results are final.
How do I see who I am playing against?
Before the scoring period begins, you can see your opponent only in head-to-head leagues. Just hold your cursor over the “H2H” in the “Rank” column of your Active Leagues section to see your opponent's username. Similarly, you can see who is registered for H2H leagues that are not yet full in the Draft Lobby by holding your cursor over the “1/2” in the “Players” column.
For salary cap leagues of three players or more, you cannot see your opponents until the scoring period begins. Scoreboards become available at the start of the scoring period. You can access the Scoreboard from your Active Leagues section on the right side of the homepage by clicking the "Scoreboard" link next to the league you want to view. You can see your opponents' usernames and the players they selected on the scoreboard.
What if I am in a snake-draft and have to leave in the middle?
If you need to leave the snake draft room for any reason, you can click the "Enable auto-pick" box on the draft screen and your picks will be automatically selected according to best player available and positions you need to fill. If you return to your computer before the draft ends, you can uncheck the “Enable Auto Draft” box and resume making selections on your own. Auto-pick will automatically be activated for any user who times-out two consecutive picks. There is a 45 second time limit for each pick.
What is the "Queue" in the snake-draft room?
The Queue allows you to make a list of players you are looking at drafting. You can rank them in the order you would like them on your team, and if your clock runs out, or you need to step away you're your computer, your highest ranked player in queue will be selected to your team.
What if I want more stats or news on a specific player in the draft room?
When you highlight a player in the draft room, a few statistics will pop up with the player's info and photo. If you would like more in depth statistics, game logs, or injury news, just click “View Full Profile” and a new popup will appear with all the relevant statistics to help you make the best decision.
Why am I unable to draft certain players in my snake-draft?
Depending on the roster style of your league, you will need to have at least one player at all required positions. If you have not filled all positions and attempt to draft a player outside those positions, the draft room will not allow such a selection. Make sure you pay attention to your picks and roster limitations.
What if we pick the same players?
In salary cap leagues, it is possible to have players in common with your opponent(s) since everyone has the same player pool to choose from.
How late can I make a lineup change in a salary cap league?
In salary cap leagues, all rosters are locked, and no adjustments can be made after the scheduled start time of the first game of the scoring period. You can see when the first game of the scoring period is scheduled to start for a league in the “1st Game (ET)” column in the lobby and/or in the “Start” column in your Active Leagues section.
How late can I make a lineup change in a snake-draft league?
Lineup changes can be made up until a player's game begins. Once a player's game starts, he will be locked in roster spot (either active or reserve). So, even if some players have started their games, you can still swap others as long as neither player's team has started a game within the scoring period.
What happens if there's a statistical change after a game has completed?
Any changes made after the final box score is submitted will not be taken into account. All players' stats are final within 20 minutes of the completion of each game.
What are Street Creds?
Street Creds are DraftStreet's version of frequent player points. You can earn Street Creds by winning free leagues or simply playing in cash leagues! Upon entering a league, you will see a "Perks" popup that includes all benefits of joining that specific league. Street Creds can be redeemed in the DraftStreet Store for great merchandise! Click the VISIT STORE button on your My DraftStreet page to check it out.
Where can I see my previous games?
Go to your My DraftStreet page and you can see every league you have participated on the "My Leagues" tab.
What happens if a game is canceled or rained out?
If a game is rained out and not made up within a league's scoring period, then all players in that game will receive 0 stats. Try this link to check relevant weather updates: http://www.wunderground.com/sports/MLB/
How are players' salaries determined?
Prices are recalculated for each scoring period based on historical statistics with more recent statistics weighted more heavily. Some aspects of each player's matchup are factored into their price as well.
For MLB, NBA and NHL weekly leagues, matchups are not considered. However, the player's number of scheduled games for the scoring period is factored into their salary.
How do I get my deposit bonus?
Your deposit bonus is first set in your bonus money account and will be released into your real money account as you participate in cash leagues. The funds are added to your main account immediately after the leagues you enter fill up and are released at a rate of 5% of the league buy-in. For example, if you join a $22 league, $1.10 (%5 of $22) will be released from your bonus account into your main account once that league becomes full.
The reason this money is not immediately available for you to play with is as protection from users immediately withdrawing the bonus money without playing in a single league.

Do I have to pay taxes on my winnings?
Players are required to pay taxes on net earnings (withdrawals less deposits) totaling $600 or more for a calendar year. DraftStreet will issue a form 1099-MISC for qualifying accounts.
What is a Freeroll?
A Freeroll is a free-to-enter league with predetermined cash prizes for the top finishing participants. Freerolls aim to allow new users the experience of a DraftStreet league without making a financial commitment, while still offering the thrill of a potential cash prize.
Who is eligible to participate in a Freeroll?
Most freerolls are offered to users who come to DraftStreet through a specific affiliate. In some cases, DraftStreet will offer site-wide freerolls as well. As with any league offering a cash prize, Freerolls are not offered to residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, Vermont or Quebec.
How do I claim my Freeroll winnings?
Users who finish in the money will be credited in their DraftStreet accounts immediately upon the league going final. From there, you can either use those funds to participate in DraftStreet leagues, or request a withdrawal via PayPal or check.
